The Council of Ministers has approved a special bonus for people with disabilities and their caregivers.
The government has revised the state budget for the 4th time, deciding to provide year-end bonuses to people with disabilities worth 15,000 lek.
This category was not included in the October act that provided bonuses for pensioners. Minister of Finance Petrit Malaj announced that 148 thousand people will benefit from this special bonus.
"Financial support for families with economic assistance of 15 thousand lek, there are 148 thousand beneficiaries with a fund of 2.2 billion lek both for the compensation of families in need and for people with disabilities. There are 150 million euros that will be transferred to the account we have in the Bank of Albania for the pension scheme to support the new reform", said Malaj.
