Today, the next hearing session with the candidates for Head of Diplomatic Missions is being held in the Committee for Eastern Policy.
Mustafa Nano, who is a candidate for ambassador to Switzerland, but not a resident, has spoken and expressed that he wants to play a more active role and curate relations between the two countries. He has even said that he feels pampered and spoiled.
Excerpts from the meeting:
Mustafa Nano: I would like it to be a special moment in my life. I hope the work is interesting. There is a large circle of Albanians in Switzerland. I will keep special focus on my task. I have decided to be more active than other ambassadors in the world. I would like to be more active. I would like the ambassador's role to be bigger. I will manage relations between Albania and Switzerland.
Collaku: I'm glad you emphasized the diaspora. I was motivated and excited by the desire for this innovation in the diaspora. With great regret that Tirana will miss a studio where we speak
Gjekmarkaj: We tried to find calm ambassadors for Switzerland. We should have had better quality relations, maybe sending there a whistleblower will make a difference. I'm glad we have someone who has written books as an ambassador. I hope that Albania gets a quality ambassador. I believe that he is a free man and will be a quality servant of our country.
Nano: I feel pampered and spoiled to be well received. I had no doubts.
