"Rama has kicked the opposition in the throat", Bardhi: We will not

The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, has spoken about the clash in the Media Commission with the democratic deputy Flutura Açka.

He said that he agrees with making the opposition verbal, but at the moment the majority is trying to extinguish the opposition.

"I agree that the opposition is talking. The opposition in a normal country, in a normal parliament. We have been using the word for a year. Tell me, do you remember any opposition act of Mrs. Açka or any words? He has spoken many wise oppositional things in the committee. Do you remember anything? Not because the way the assembly works and the arrogance shown by the majority towards the speech, rights, duties and mission that the opposition has, is such that it is trying to extinguish the opposition", said Bardhi.

Bardhi emphasized that all his and MP Açka's requests for investigative commissions were dismissed without arguments. He also said that the PD with its action is not allowing Rama, using the knife as a metaphor, to stick to the opposition.

"They were all dismissed without giving any arguments, even some of them without going to a vote in the plenary session. Now in what situation is the opposition in the Parliament. Edi Rama laid him on the ground, kicked him in the throat, now he has a knife in his hand and is going to stab us with the knife as well. What we are doing in the parliament under these conditions is, we have simply grabbed his hand and we are not allowing him to stick the knife in us" , said Bardhi for "Tv Klan".
