Prime Minister Rama has gathered all the country's mayors in a meeting today to discuss the continuation of the Mountain Package, a law approved earlier this year that aims to promote sustainable economic development in mountainous areas.
He also addressed the mayor of Këlcyra, Klement Ndoni, asking him to start investments in the area he leads. The Prime Minister accompanied this conversation with humor.
"You heard Klement. I've been telling you since we met. All that beautiful thing you have on your head, do a project there. You're getting by, but you're getting by. You're not Benjamin Button getting younger.
"Will you start within a month? If you start within a month, all those who are here will understand me that we should come there, go to Tepelena, the earthquake will take away Ali Pasha with its own hand and without you getting there, you should stay there for at least 5 minutes and we should all applaud for 5 minutes in a row, I give you the floor," said Rama.
