Prime Minister Edi Rama has requested the completion of the Mountain Package process, emphasizing that maps of several municipalities are still missing.
During a meeting with mayors, Rama said that work on this initiative has been underway for a long time, but the pace is not satisfactory.
The Prime Minister also mentioned several right-wing municipalities that have not yet submitted their maps. According to him, the delays show that the lack of efficiency does not depend on political beliefs.
He also criticized Mayor Benet Beci, saying that the Mountain Package started when he didn't have a beard, while now he has grown a beard like Rama's.
"This applies to Benet Beci, who was the promoter of this package and I don't see Shkodra here. We started this work together when you didn't have a beard. I had one and you didn't, now your beard has become like mine and the map hasn't arrived yet."
"Even Memaliaj and Fushë Arrzi, who are here, the garlic that protects us from the evil eye with its blue skin, have not brought anything, so they have saved you from being put in a difficult position. This shows that both the left and the right, when Albanians sleep, they sleep. The maps should come within October," said Rama.
