"Albanians must stand up for free and fair elections, this Parliament is signing its shameful end," said Democratic leader Sali Berisha during a media conference, where he also commented on the OSCE/ODIHR final report on the May 11 elections.
Referring to the report, Berisha stated that Albanians have a major obligation to stand up for free and fair elections.
"You conclude that the Parliament that emerged from the May 11 elections is the most hostile parliament towards Albanians in its 32-year history.
"It is the Parliament that approved the Government and its program in 28 minutes. It is the Parliament that violates the law and the Constitution to close the sessions without discussion. It is the Parliament in which interpellations from the Prime Minister are rejected. In which investigative committees for the Prime Minister are rejected. It is the Parliament that is signing its shameful end. In fact, its death," said Berisha.
Regarding the ongoing request for a technical government, the democratic leader said that no one can create a technical government unless you impose it yourself.
"If Albanians want to vote freely, they should prepare for our battle, our protest for free voting," he emphasized.
