Rama gathers the socialists in Durrës, today the new names for the Presidency and Secretariat of the party are voted

The meeting will be held in a hotel in Durrës, as according to sources it is expected that there will be changes in the management levels of the SP, from the members of the Presidency, to the political leaders and the secretariats.

The Socialist Party convenes the National Assembly today in the city of Durrës.

The meeting of the Assembly will start at 11:00 and will be opened with the speech of the head of the socialist Edi Rama.

Afterwards, voting will take place for the new governing bodies of the SP, for the Presidency and the Secretariat of the SP.

The meeting will be held in a hotel in Durrës, as according to sources, it is expected that there will be changes in the leadership levels of the SP.

The new assembly of the SP was elected by the votes of the delegates of the SP Congress on July 28 of this year. This assembly has about 350 members, of which the July Congress elected only 156 of them, as the rest are automatically elected due to the leadership functions they hold.

We are already in an election year and the party that has the majority in the parliament has started to start the engines which will precede the election campaign.

We recall here that a week ago, on the eve of the start of the new parliamentary session, Prime Minister Rama gathered the cabinet of ministers at the government residence in Dajt, the meeting which did not have many details.

The assembly will have a key role in selecting the list of SP candidates for deputies in the 2025 parliamentary elections.
