Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting with farmers in Dibër this Saturday, April 25.
Among other things, he also spoke about the Mountain Package, where he addressed the mayor, Rahim Spahiu, telling him not to bother running again if he does not enable the opening of 10 agrotourism facilities in Dibër.
"The problem is no longer with money, the problem is with the application. In a few months we will sign with the banks. No one has an alibi anymore, not even the mayors. I told them, I love Rahim very much, he is a good Dibrani, he came here to serve after being in the bank, but I told him that if you don't do 10 agrotourism, don't come and run again because the municipalities are no longer just for roads," said Rama, emphasizing that the first 500 winners who will receive the permit will be tax-free.
Also present at the meeting was Socialist MP Ulsi Manja, who, among jokes, said: "Every time he comes to Dibër and every time we are given the opportunity to thank him, it is never too much."
He considered the farmers to be "the most skilled craftsmen and people in Dibra!"
Rama's visit to Dibër is taking place as part of the "Works of Albania" tour, while discussions focus on increasing investments in agriculture, new facilities to support this sector, where a general production standard for the EU market must be achieved.
