The former head of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of being connected to crime.
Presenting the new facts discovered by the SPAK file about the former deputy of the SP, Jurgis Çyrbja and his connections with crime, Basha has posted on the social network "Facebook" a video of Prime Minister Edi Rama in which years ago he denied links to crime.
Basha further adds in his post that Edi Rama's personal mandate in Durrës is a product of organized crime.
" The separation of politics and crime has been and remains one of the main priorities for Albania. We have strongly and with facts denounced the connection of Edi Rama with organized crime, already proven by successive files that show that the gangs gave power to Edi Rama, while Edi Rama placed power at the service of the gangs. The arrest of Jurgis Çyrbe proved, both inside and outside the country, that Edi Rama's personal mandate in Durrës was also a product of organized crime the stinking alliance between crime and politics has marked the degradation of order and security in our country, making Albania an unlivable country, not only because citizens' lives are threatened, but because young people do not have the opportunity to build a family in a country where the money being laundered in construction makes it impossible for them to buy an affordable house. A government that serves the gangs instead of serving the citizens doesn't even need the hell ," he writes.
