Democratic leader Sali Berisha, through a conversation with followers on social media, spoke about former Democratic MP Ervin Salianji, saying that the latter has self-excluded himself!
The DP leader was asked by his followers about Ervin Salianj's intensive meetings with democratic structures and grassroots opposition supporters.
Berisha calls Salianji a self-resignation from the DP Presidency and adds that parting with him does not weaken the opposition.

Sali Berisha: Respond to Salianj as a man who has excluded himself from the DP.
Dear Arbër, neither you, nor I, nor any person, no person, is responsible for illegal acts against those who are responsible for their illegal acts. Against those who protect illegal interests. There is no responsibility. Therefore, I guarantee that he only has private interests, strictly private, proven with documents, and therefore the membership has been told that this gentleman has excluded himself from the DP.
We have an article, article 24 of the statute, when you are caught in flagrant violation of it, and they then force you to walk up and down, that is your private activity, it has nothing to do with the DP. This is my answer to you and every democrat.
Don't forget one thing, oppositionism is difficult, it's not easy, and let no one think that parting with these people harms the DP. I guarantee that it strengthens it. Did you see the other one? They are not oppositionists, they are pseudo-oppositionists.
We must remain an open party without any hesitation, but never towards those who, for their personal interests, try to exploit the party to advance illegal interests or activities in serious violations of the law. No, we do not do that. We are not lawyers. We are a party of the rule of law and we stand by it.
