President Bajram Begaj will host on Monday in Tirana the heads of state and delegations of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) within the framework of Albania's chairmanship of this process.
"Promoting Stability and Prosperity through Regional Cooperation and EU Integration" is the theme of this plenary session that will be opened by President Begaj in his capacity as the Acting Chairman of the SEECP Summit.
SEECP is an important platform for Regional Cooperation and European Integration.
Albania, as the next chair of the SEECP for the period June 2024 - July 2025 under the slogan "Shaping our European future", has contributed to strengthening regional cooperation, implementing the objectives of the Regional Common Market, as well as accelerating the European integration process.
The SEECP Summit to be held in Tirana will serve to promote Stability and Prosperity with a positive impact on the lives of citizens and EU integration.
In this context, the participating leaders intend to express their commitment to further strengthen the role of the SEECP at this summit. They will also present the conclusions of the summit in a joint statement.
At the conclusion of the summit, President Begaj will hand over the SEECP Chairmanship to his Bulgarian counterpart, President Radev.
President Begaj is expected to hold separate meetings with counterparts and leaders participating in the SEECP process to further deepen Albania's cooperation with these countries.
