Democratic leader Sali Berisha has supported Israel in the war against Iran, while in a post on social media he states that the Ayatollahs' regime is coming to an end.
"The strikes at the heart of the regime by the US-backed Israeli air force, the annihilation of the terrorist elite of the Guard and the Ayatollahs' army, defense systems and nuclear plants and other strategic facilities, are leading Tehran's dictatorial, obscurantist, warmongering and destabilizing regime towards its deserved end," Berisha writes.
According to him, the Democratic Party believes that the speedy end of the obscurantist regime of the Ayatollahs, a fierce enemy of the Iranian nation and its freedoms, marks the liberation of this great nation and a true victory for peace and cooperation in the Middle East.
The former Prime Minister is the first Albanian politician to react regarding the war between Israel and Iran, which began 72 hours ago, after a precise attack by Israeli forces that killed the entire chain of command of the Iranian army, as well as scientists engaged in nuclear projects.
