Prime Minister Edi Rama has expressed his irritation with the name "Saraj e Surreli", which exponents of the right have always referred to the Prime Minister's residence.
Regarding this, Rama started making excuses again, stating that he built the house just like all other immigrants with the savings of emigration. As he added that all those who deal with his palaces are for Bathore...the 7th Wonder of the World.
"I live in a house that is built like hundreds, thousands of houses that Albanians have built with two, three, five floors. I don't have it with two or three floors. I have it according to my desire, pleasure and the way I see the world. It's a strange house! Above me, 30 meters is a family from the north who came years ago and have a super house with 3 floors and enjoy it, they are hardworking people... And the palaces use the word saraje, why are they saraje?!
Now, please don't call me ignorant! It is not measured by 50 meters because it is not all living space. It is the surrounding wall...It is architecture and for architecture then we have an epochal division. I am for the architecture that has made Tirana the tourist capital. Who cares about my saraj, it's for Bathora...the 7th Wonder of the World!” , Rama said.
