The Chairman of the Together Movement, Arlind Qori, spoke about the unprecedented closure of the parliamentary session where the government program was to be presented.
Qori called this a "scandalous" and very serious event, comparing the prime minister to Mussolini, while saying that the institutions in Albania are dead.
" I did not expect this to happen, that the session where the composition of the government is discussed and the government is voted on, the program is discussed, sessions that last for days, everything would be closed in a few minutes in violation of the rules of procedure and the Constitution. No matter how much Rama justifies that two or three people disrupt the session, they can be expelled, but finding a pretext to close the Assembly in an anti-constitutional manner is very serious. Even more serious, if this action is projected in the next four years, then it will be the continuity of the Assembly. This means that the institutions are dead in Albania.
Our representative, Redi Muçi, has been preparing his speech for a long time and was not given the opportunity to justify his criticisms and his vote against.
In 1922 Mussolini came to power under the threat of hooliganism. He said if I wanted, there would be no Parliament here at all, that my boys would come and beat you up, but I am tolerant and I will let you stay here, but after a while Mussolini took those boys there and established the dictatorship of the fascist party.
Rama has not yet brought in patronage supporters to beat people in Parliament, but it would not be surprising if he did. However, the dangerous fact is that Rama says if you don't behave as I want, I will close the Parliament. Rama makes this decision. That session should not have been closed even from the point of view of the rules of procedure. Niko Peleshi has acted like a man without the minimum of autonomy, he behaves as Rama's secretary. From a constitutional point of view, he is second in the hierarchy of the state. For Rama and Balla to come out and decide publicly, to tell the deputies, if you don't behave as I want, I will close the session and we will vote, this is scandalous and shows the fact that in Albania the institutions are dead. The Parliament is a constitutional institution and can function if the deputies are given the opportunity to have their say.
Both sides have an interest in there being no Parliament, no criticism, no alternative, here there is an interest in what is happening, Rama passing everything without question and Berisha showing that he is strong and sees strength through chaos.
"The chaos interests Rama at every moment. The opposition says he provoked us and it is true, but how does he react to the provocation, does he fall prey, or does he articulate an alternative through words, does he expose Rama as ugly as he is? It's like wrestling, the winner is the one in power ," declared Qori in "The Unexposed."
