The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, spoke about Thursday's plenary session, a session that was planned to be a marathon, but which lasted about 25 minutes.
Bardhi stated that the reason why he threw the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly at the Speaker of Parliament Niko Pelshi was the only way to react they had at that moment, as they were not being given the right to speak.
Bardhi added that what happened on Thursday was a provocation by Prime Minister Rama and a "shame session."
" The Constitution and the Rules of Procedure were being violated. When you can't react with words, the only way to react was to throw them at the Speaker of the Assembly. It was a session of shame in 35 years. The public was deprived of the right to hear the opposition's program and opposition to the government cabinet.
"It was a provocation, a mockery, turning the Assembly hall into a puppet theater and we asked to be given the right to speak. The majority was given the floor twice, while our group, apparently Peleshi, was ordered by Rama and the floor was given to the majority again ," he said on "This Week".
