Analyst and lecturer Zylyftar Bregu has commented on the developments in the Tirana Municipal Council following the dismissal of Erion Veliaj.
He emphasized that today's moment marked the end of Veliaj's political profile, whom he accuses of rushing into the ambition to become Edi Rama's successor.
According to him, Veliaj made a grave mistake by projecting himself as the future leader at a moment when 'the number one', Edi Rama, was still at the peak of his power.
"If we could split the screen in half to broadcast on half the screen the protest that the municipality employees made in front of SPAK when Veliaj was arrested and on half the screen to show their speeches today at the Tirana Municipal Council, it would best illustrate what you said.
