The chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted after the latest publication of Eurostat, which ranks Albania at the top of the countries with the greatest poverty in Europe.
Bardhi writes that this is a consequence of Edi Rama's 12 years of bad governance. He emphasizes that there are no funds for pensioners, while he emphasizes that the state budget does not go to citizens but to corrupt projects.
The head of the Parliamentary Group adds that it is time for change and to say enough to this system.
"The consequences of 12 years of bad governance by Edi Rama! Albania leads in Europe for the number of citizens in survival conditions and at risk of extreme poverty. When the State Budget is used for personal benefits and not for the benefit of citizens, the risk of poverty increases. There are no budget funds for increasing pensions, it was promised in 12 years and no increase, only fraud.
Meanwhile, in order to abusively increase the funds for corrupt projects, the Budget always has enough funds. Just for 3 projects, Belinda Ballukut added a full 260 million euros of funds within 5 months. Albania has every chance not to be at the top of the list of countries in Europe for the level of poverty. For this we need a responsible government, for this we need change. Plenty is plenty! TIME TO GO!", he said.
