Democratic Party MP Jorida Tabaku has publicly reacted by accusing the government of building and protecting an unjust economic system, which, according to her, weighs heavily on the majority of citizens and particularly hits the middle class. In a post on social media, she emphasizes that economic decision-making has consistently favored a limited group at the expense of the public interest.
According to Tabaku, the government has chosen to protect a model that serves the government and a privileged minority, leaving citizens in the background.
"Every time it has had to be decided between the citizens and the system, the system has been chosen," she says.
The MP also criticizes current fiscal policies, which, according to her, weigh on work and production, directly hitting the middle class.
"The middle class, which is the backbone of the economy, is being overtaxed more and more every day," Tabaku emphasizes, adding that in the meantime, a small portion benefits from relief through special laws.
She argues that this economic model has brought direct consequences to the lives of citizens, reducing real incomes and increasing the fiscal burden.
"Citizens pay more taxes, but receive less in return," said Tabaku, also criticizing the way public funds are spent.
In her reaction, Tabaku links the economic situation to the low level of purchasing power and rising prices, emphasizing that corruption and monopolies are, according to her, direct consequences of this model.
"This system has created more burdens for the majority and more privileges for the minority," she said.
In conclusion, the DP MP calls for political change, emphasizing that only a new governance model can put the interests of citizens at the center and restore balance to the economy.
