Journalist Fatos Mahmutaj has stated that the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, "knows no other language than lynching, attacks and crime against opponents", while adding that "the democrat leader does not know how to do politics, but only violence".
While speaking about the situation of MP Ervin Salianji, Mahmutaj stated that "I warned Salianji to withdraw", while claiming that there were also threatening messages, emphasizing that "Berisha always sends understandable messages" and that "he gave him the message: get out of the way, run and continue and you will be saved".
He also said that "if you get involved further, what has happened to others in such situations will happen," while also adding that "Berisha has no business killing people," a strong claim that is not confirmed by official sources.
The journalist also commented on the German embassy's reaction to the opposition's protest, as well as the situation within the Democratic Party, stating that "as long as Berisha is in power, the Democratic Party will be his property, he will not let go," while adding that this relationship will continue in the future.
"As long as Berisha is in power, the PD will be his property, he will not let him go. Even when Berisha leaves this world, the PD will drag him along. The PD was born from Ramiz Alia, who brought Berisha there as a bastard, and in the end, he will take him with him to that world...", he told "Abc News".
