Prime Minister Edi Rama's altercation with Greek journalist John Defterios yesterday in the United Arab Emirates, during his participation in an international forum, has caused a fierce reaction in the Greek media.
The "quarrel" that started because the journalist, instead of addressing the Prime Minister by his first name, Edi Rama, called him Edi Rami. This prompted Rama's reaction, who immediately responded with ridicule, saying " you're Greek, that's why you changed my name."
Rama's irony with the Greek journalist did not end there as the Prime Minister 'stabbed' him several times. A little later, when the journalist corrected a momentary mistake in a numerical element, Rama 'stabbed' him again by saying; " You Greeks, when it comes to paying a bill, subtract zero and when others pay, add zero, that's why you love Europe" .
At another point in the interview, Rama asked the journalist if he knew any specific Arab scholars. When he answered negatively, Rama 'stabbed' him again, telling him that you Greeks underestimate people, since you think you have a monopoly on philosophy and consider yourselves heirs of Aristotle and Plato.
"As a Greek, you should know better. You Greeks continue to underestimate people, you think you have a monopoly on philosophy and that you are the heirs of Plato and Aristotle. But you are not ," Rama said.
It was precisely this last sentence that provoked a huge reaction in the Greek media and Greek public opinion. Greek opinion leaders exploded with accusations against Rama, accusing him of not hesitating to offend Greece and Greeks at every opportunity.
The Greeks also exploded with accusations against the Albanian media. Albanian television bombards viewers with Rama's propaganda. According to them, this type of propaganda also gives rise to ideas such as Homer wrote in Albanian and that the Albanian language is 6,000 years old, or that Greeks do not exist and are Turks or Ethiopians.

Sa u takon thënieve për grekët, Rama ka të drejtë dhe duhet përshëndetur. Grekët e sotëm nuk kanë asnjë lidhje me Grekët e vjetër. Jo më kot Fallmerajeri pat shkruar: "Heronjtë flokëverdhë të Homerit nuk ekzistojnë më. Ata që sot e quajnë veten grekë, nuk janë veçse sllavë dhe shqiptarë, që pas bashkimit me elementin egjiptian u greqizuan". Prandaj janë lëkurëzinj, por me 50% të gjeneve shqiptare!

Kryeministri ynë z.Edi Rama është udhëheqës i zgjuar, i ditur dhe më orator i historisë Shqipërisë. Është shumë më lartë se filozofët Grekë. Është gjenial!
