The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, commemorated the Recak massacre today. He honored its martyrs and emphasized the historical importance of denouncing this tragic event.
Begaj states that the Recak massacre cannot be forgotten, while today marks the 27th anniversary of one of the most serious crimes committed during the war in Kosovo.
President Begaj states that the call for justice cannot be extinguished. According to the Head of State, the denunciation by Ambassador William Walker made the international community aware of the genocide that was taking place in Kosovo.
