The deputy of the PD, Albana Vokshi, has criticized the government over the scandal with the non-functioning of the Oncology equipment.
Vokshi said that the malfunctioning of the equipment endangered the lives of the patients.
" 600 women in three years have not been able to get the right therapy because the device doesn't work and that's what the opposition says. Why has it not been put into operation, who is responsible? The disease does not wait. Today we are talking about money for never completed check ups. The health authorities have not taken the appropriate measures ", said Vokshi in "News 24".
According to the KLSH audit report, it turned out that the Brachytherapy (Cyritherapy) medical equipment is not functional in the Oncology Hospital, which has caused the non-treatment of 600 women patients with gynecological CA with radiotherapy, a fact that poses a risk to their health .
