Prime Minister Edi Rama has not spared criticism of SPAK, from the meeting room of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, even suggesting two issues that should be investigated.
Not leaving the January 21 file out of the spotlight, Rama has suggested to SPAK prosecutors that they investigate 4 hydropower plants privatized during Berisha's time, if they want to fight corruption.
"There has been a total destruction of the distribution system. Second, the criminal privatization of the 4 hydropower plants Shkopet, Ulëza, Bistrica 1 and Bistrica 2 as a VAT refund.
"If they want corruption and want to fight corruption, because it's a crime, it's not easy for them to fight it to the end, as long as they don't have the power to press charges for 'January 21', to go and get the file of these 4 works built by the people and that belonged only to the people and were given to a company that didn't get VAT back. They said we won't get VAT back, but take this hydroelectric power plant. These are the ones who come around like dogs in the market today with fire in their hands and their mouths out ," Rama said.
