The Conference of Speakers convenes today in the Presidency of the Assembly. It is learned that on the agenda, in the meeting that will start at 11:00, are the review of the draft program and the draft calendar of the works of the Assembly for the period November 27-December 22.

Meanwhile, the draft calendar of works for this period includes the agreement signed between Italy and Albania for housing immigrants from Africa.

" For the ratification of the protocol, between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Government of the Italian Republic, for the strengthening of cooperation in the field of migration ", filed by the Council of Ministers on November 17.

After consideration in the parliamentary committees, it is expected that the vote in the plenary session for the agreement with Italy will take place on December 21.

On November 6, 2023, Prime Minister Edi Rama and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni signed in Rome the agreement for the construction in Albania of two centers for housing immigrants.
