Today, the PD Assembly, called by Basha, presents the statutory changes and votes on the new National Council

Today, the Democratic Party led by Lulzim Basha will convene the National Assembly at 10:00 a.m. at the Asllan Rusi Sports Palace.

Basha, in addition to touching the statute of the DP, is expected to pave the way for the change of the leadership dome, including the Head of the Parliamentary Group, who, according to the statute, is chosen from among the vice-presidents of the party. At the opening of the Assembly, some young people will first give speeches.

After several speeches, the leader of the DP, Lulzim Basha, will give his speech for almost 1 hour. After Basha's speech, the statutory changes will be presented and first the Committee on Statutory Changes will clarify the changes made, while the following will be voted on by a ballot for these changes by the delegates.

The new National Council will also be voted on, and while open speeches will be held, it will also be voted on. 

Today's Assembly will not call the 7,646 delegates that this DP body had before the division of the Democrats. The lists, as happened with the National Council, will be cleared by Berishists and with the refreshments made in the Assembly, about 5,000 delegates will participate out of about 7,000 that were there. 

The last assembly that the official Democratic Party held was on December 18, at the height of the war with Sali Berisha's group, where Basha gathered 5,004 delegates and decided that the US non grata should stay away from the party's leadership.

Apparently, this Assembly will further deepen the division of DP into two camps between Berisha and Basha.

It is learned that tomorrow Lulzim Basha, Oriola Pampuri, Andia Ulliri, Merita Bakiu, Kreshnik Çollaku, Flutura Açka, Enkelejd Alibeaj, Eralda Bano, Arbi Agalliu and Selaudin Jakupllari will be in the Assembly. The rest of the deputies do not know Basha and have refused to join him.
