"SPAK should not stop", Basha: Rama cannot wash his hands every time

Lulzim Basha, in the framework of the campaign for the head of the Democratic Party, touched again today the SPAK request for the arrest of the former minister Ahmetaj.

From Durrës, Basha said that the cases like Arben Ahmetaj's file, but also the previous ones involving ministers or other high officials from the ranks of the SP, are proof that Edi Rama has built all his power on crime. and corruption.

According to him, after every corruption case, the head of the government comes out and washes his hands, and why according to Basha, the corruptions were committed with his blessing.

Full post:

Albania is ranked among the 10 most corrupt countries in the world, according to the perception of its citizens. The file of Arben Ahmetaj, but also the previous cases where ministers, mayors and deputies were arrested for corruption, or left politics for ties to crime, are evidence that Edi Rama has built all his power on crime and corruption. After every corruption case, he comes out and washes his hands, are you saying that the corruptions were not done with his blessing?! Are you saying that ties to crime didn't bring votes to keep him in power?! SPAK should not stop, but should go to the end of the investigation for the corruption files that have been in its offices for years.

Of course, these proven corrupt affairs, but also the slanderous accusations that are thrown in the media financed with corruption money to cover the real incriminated and corrupt, have made the trust of the citizens in politics to be very low, as they showed the last elections, where the majority of young people boycotted them.

Therefore, anyone who is clean and has no fear should today loudly demand the vetting of politicians, the investigation of their assets, how they have placed these assets and their links to crime.

The Civic Alliance for Democracy will be our coalition to free the economy and advance constitutional changes that will undo those of 2008, enabling:

✅ Open lists;

✅ Vetting of politicians;

✅ Diaspora vote;

✅ Limitation of mandates;

✅ Election of the President by the people.

We will devote every energy to opening, strengthening and modernizing the structures of the Democratic Party - for a party that represents society and its needs, with honest professionals who love their country, with young men and women, who are the guarantee of continuous innovation and thinking differently.

The change that we have started and will continue within our political force, with difficult and courageous decisions, is proof of our readiness to give the Albanians the alternative they expect and deserve!
