Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha from the floor of the Assembly had a "river" of accusations against the former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, for the sterilization concession that has so far led several officials to prison.
Berisha said that Beqja has appropriated the investments made with the funds of the Bank of the Council of Europe.
Furthermore, the former prime minister emphasized that Beqaj chose the byrazar, his first cousin, to do the study of usefulness.
Berisha emphasized that what he calls "the second theft of the century" has its roots in Ilir Beqajs' appropriation as minister of an extremely important investment, the construction of the emergency hospital and the appropriation for his business of the ultra-modern apparatus of sterilization.”

That, the investments of this bank, extremely useful and neuralgic, in the construction of hospitals, in equipment with the most modern devices, were wasted like in no other country in Europe, creating the Minister Beqaj his private enterprise.
What is called the second theft of the century, it has its roots in the embezzlement of Ilir Beqaj as minister, of an extremely important investment, the construction of the emergency and diagnosis hospital, a full floor with the mason Rrapaj, and the embezzlement for his business , of ultramodern sterilization equipment, purchased with the loan of this bank, 1.7 million euros. What is so dramatic is that with the contract signed by Ilir Beqaj, for about 100 million euros in 10 years, in 5 years 76 million euros have been spent and 76 million euros have been paid to his company. Sterilization, therefore, the contract was accompanied by the forgiveness from Ilir Beqaj for his company of the ultramodern sterilization plant and an entire floor of the new hospital built with the funds of the Bank of the Council of Europe.
Ilir Beqaj, amnestied in the most irresponsible way by the SKAP of the party by order of Edi Rama, is the person who selected Byrazer, his first cousin with the last name Byrazeri, to do the feasibility study. Ilir Beqaj and his cousin declared that the concession would reduce the price of sterilization by four times compared to what is done in the state. KLSH, independent audits, have proven that the price of sterilizations increased by 80 times.
