Some of the PD MPs have participated in the 18th meeting of the EU-Albania Stabilization-Association Parliamentary Commission.

10 members of the European Parliament participated in this meeting. At the head of the Europeans was the Italian, Marko Tarquinio, while there are also two Albanians in the delegation, Adnan Dibrani comes from Sweden, while Fredi Beleri returns to Albania, as the Greek MEP.

From the democratic deputies, Gazment Bardhi, Agron Gjekmarkaj, Oerd Bylykbashi, Jorida Tabaku, Ina Zhupa, Zheni Gjergji, and Saimir Korreshi participated.

DP MPs complained about the venue of the meeting. Bardhi said that the meeting took place in the hotel, since Rama has punished them as opposition.

Deputy Jorida Tabaku said that they do not give them investigative commissions because the majority is afraid. While Bylykbashi complained that there is no equal competition in the elections, stressing that citizens' data is used with a patronage system where citizens are put under pressure.

Bardhi:  Integration is a political goal of Albanians and an achievement of Albanians, but we cannot avoid talking about the truths. We demand a parliamentary investigation that is rejected by the majority. Today, at the KPSA meeting, we are holding it in a hotel because the majority has punished us as the opposition.

We follow the legal path for cases that we think are in violation of the constitution, we go to the Constitutional Court and win the case for the mandate of a person very close to Edi Rama, Mrs. Olta Xhaçka, who is a former foreign minister, but the majority refuses to implement the decision of the GJK.

In the campaign, we do not face the majority MPs that you had a meeting with today. But as the wiretaps of the Belgian prosecutor's office show, we have the gang of Abdylaj and Hajraj, who, as the wiretaps show, have dictated to the CM who the deputies are. The interceptions even show who would appoint number 5 in the list of PS Durrës and as the facts show, they appointed the candidates.
Stay close to us in these moments because the country needs your perspective.

Tabaku:  This committee will help us do our job better to monitor the SAA. Albania has started the negotiation process and the opening of the first cluster and the opposition is an actor in this process since we supported it with facts and our vote in favor.

Meanwhile, we are working on the truths that are not always written in reports as they are. So we have to say things as they are.
We as the opposition, personally me, have worked willingly and with every form to be this comprehensive integration process. But unfortunately, we do not find the same will in the majority. Commissions of inquiry are not given to us and this is because the majority is afraid. A few years ago I led a Commission of Inquiry into the incinerators that uncovered a scheme that today is far from justice involving a former deputy prime minister who is wanted internationally. Since that day, 9 investigative commissions have been rejected, which are a mechanism in the hands of the opposition.

Next year we have elections and unfortunately we still do not have a complete electoral reform based on the recommendations of the OSCE-ODIHR, a reform that has not happened in Albania and the will of the opposition remains, but not of the majority. We have made some electoral changes to address some changes required for the diaspora vote, but unfortunately the government is using every state tool for partisan interest. As the OSCE-ODIHR report says, KM Rama is using the diplomatic staff for the vote of immigrants and the diaspora, giving an excellent example of how the party-state is.

We have noticed continuous violations of the SAA, especially in the field of competition and public tenders. Violations of the SAA have been seen in large projects where all the key points of open competition have been ignored and this has had a supportive effect on the growth of the free market and competition.

Technical government is vital in conditions where elections, lack of checks and balances and democracy. So this is the reason why we have reached the conclusion to ask for a technical government.

Bylykbashi:  The elections are a benchmark for understanding the quality and level of democracy, and we believe and have evidence that the foundation has been hit. We want to return to the parameters where the elections had consensus and where they were accepted. We are making a situation where we have to get back to where we were improving.

The state is a full actor of the elections in Albania and in complete violation of the OSCE in the country. We do not have an equal race. There is no possibility of political rotation. Regulating powers are used where the government sets rules in favor of its candidate, putting pressure on the voters. Citizens' data are used with a patronage system where citizens are put under pressure and this produces a behavior of the government that ignores the decisions of the GJK, that excludes more than ½ of the deputies from the assembly and that destroys the rules or breaks the SAA by imposing personal laws .

If the EU takes these points and turns it into a control scale, breaking down the problems created by making it impossible for the Rama government to manipulate the elections.

I want to touch on the issue of justice. We wanted an independent, functional and uncorrupted judiciary and not a reform that has dragged on for 10 years and is worse than when it was not reformed.
