Former Democratic MP Ervin Salinjit has announced another meeting in the city of Shkodra. This organization seems to have scared the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, who is calling on the Democrats not to participate in Salinjit's speech.
After accusations of links to crime figures, this time Democratic Party officials accuse Salianji of organizing today's meeting in Shkodra for Benet Beci.
In the official message sent to the Democrats, it is stated that this meeting is private and has no connection to the DP structures.
At the end of the message, it is said that this meeting fits Rama's agenda.
"Today, speculating on behalf of the DP, an attempt is being made to organize a meeting with a completely private agenda, without any connection to the Democratic Party. This meeting is organized by Benet Beci and his phalanx and, to make matters worse, with the support of criminal elements. The DP Shkodra branch calls on you, as a member of the branch, to distance yourself, as this meeting suits Edi Rama's agenda," the message sent to the Democrats states.
Berisha has warned of Salijanj's expulsion as a co-opted member of the Presidency, but the former MP has stated that his meetings aim to revitalize the DP structures that have been left in oblivion and the Democrats are being ignored.
