Sali Berisha, leader of the DP, and Ervin Salianji, member of the Presidency of this party, continue meetings with party structures, within the framework of what are considered "Speakers".
Berisha has announced a meeting in Korça, while Salianji in Shkodra. Both meetings are at 6:00 PM, while the Democratic leader has chosen the southeastern city, precisely where it is thought that Salianji has the greatest support among Democrats.
On the other hand, Salianji has chosen the capital of the North to deliver his messages. Both Berisha and Salianji are expected to exchange mutual attacks at a distance.
Berisha and Salianji are involved in a clash between them, while the Democrat leader considers the agenda of the Presidency member's meetings as personal. Berisha has warned of the exclusion of Salianji as a co-opted member of the Presidency, but the former MP has stated that his meetings aim to revitalize the DP structures that have been left in oblivion and the Democrats are being ignored.
Flamur Noka, Secretary General of the Democratic Party, who is considered one of Sali Berisha's most loyalists, but who could lose his position in a normal vote within the party, was also included in the debate.
He was asked to resign to take responsibility for the election defeat on May 11, but Noka linked this request to Edi Rama's game. After that, he accused Salianji of connections with criminal elements, emphasizing that this is a red line for the Democrats.
