The Deputy Prime Minister, Erion Braçe, has debated with the democratic MP Jorida Tabaku regarding her position on the tax on free professions.
Tabaku said from the floor of the parliament that freelancers are being treated unfairly, and the taxation that is being done to them is forcing them to close the activity.
"It is becoming an electoral cycle with the taxes of professionals. Why are you not treating these professionals as businesses?" , says Tabaku.
This accusation was answered by the socialist Erion Braçe, who asked why a doctor in the state should be taxed for his salary, and a doctor who offers the service as a professional should not pay tax?
"The party doesn't solve wrong statements. Doctors run away from here and go and become nurses there", replied Braçe.
