"The devil is hidden in the details", Alibeaj: up to 100 people

The General Secretary of the official DP, Enkelejd Alibeaj, has commented on the criminal amnesty

Alibeaj emphasized that up to 100 people, who have been investigated for corruption, benefited from the draft.

" The Government and Reestablishment said that those who were convicted by SPAK will not benefit from the amnesty. The last amnesty benefited those who had been convicted by the GJKKO. 80 to 100 people who were convicted of corruption and benefited from the amnesty. This number can increase even further, because there are other people who are in court proceedings and want to benefit from the amnesty.

High officials did not benefit, but directors and judges did. The amnesty did not include the criminal offense provided for by article 75/b and 75/c, but article 75/a was included, so the entire article was not excluded, but space was left for the corrupt to benefit ," he told News24.
