The Joint Movement of Arlind Qori has warned of holding a protest on Saturday, demanding that the "mammoths of corruption" appear before justice.
The protest will be held at 11 o'clock in Skënderbej Square. According to the United Movement, at the head of the corrupt system are those who have governed Albania in recent decades. Those who have stolen and continue to steal for themselves, their families and parties.
" We, the citizens trampled by bad governance, must raise our voice against corruption. We must exert pressure on the institutions of justice so that all corrupt rulers and former rulers are accountable before the law. We, TOGETHER, must lay the foundations of an honest government ", the statement says.

Albania is one of the six most corrupt countries in Europe. Public institutions waste about 1 billion euros per year.
In Albania, it is stolen through procurement, concessions, construction permits, the law on strategic investors and monopolies.
All-out corruption blocks sustainable economic development, deepens poverty, keeps wages and pensions low, exacerbates inequality, degrades public services, devalues merit and encourages mass emigration.
