"Let's leave the quarrels behind and reach the consensus", Rama

From Montenegro, where he participated in the summit of the Western Balkans and the EU on the Growth Plan, Prime Minister Rama extended his hand again to Berisha's group, to cooperate with the "super commission" that aims to control SPAK.

Rama said that as far as this issue is concerned, a wider agreement is needed, including the opposition group, which according to him should leave the noise behind and work to reach a consensus on this issue.

" I am not aware that a draft resolution has been filed in the parliament, it will have its process, just like we did with the justice reform, we will do our part in all cases. For certain issues, an even broader consensus is required. Also because at the end of the day, all parties do not discuss that the destination is the EU. To create a space, a prohibited area for quarrels to continue in other spaces and there to speak with the language of expertise and not with the promiscuous language of the politics of the day ," Rama said.

On the other hand, the prime minister rejected the accusations that the resolution proposed by the Socialist Party, against corruption, aims to capture the Special Prosecutor's Office.

" It would have to go through changes to the Constitution. How can I have such a goal, when I was with the Socialist Party that gave life to SPAK and that today we give it unequivocal support. And until today we have not opened our mouths to criticize SPAK, which like any other institution has its own problems. The draft resolution has been filed and will follow its own procedure. As we have done with the justice reform, we will do our part, but in this case, a broader consensus is required in the parliament hall , "said Rama.
