Former minister Saimir Tahir has reacted for the first time after his parole.

"I will continue to seek justice, as I have done until today," says former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri in his reaction on social networks after leaving the cell.

Tahiri further in his message emphasizes that now he has the opportunity to demand the right without saving.

"I will continue to seek justice, as I have done until today.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for always believing in everything I am and have done!
Thank you also for always lying, reminding me of the price of the truth.
I had the opportunity to I knew the injustice in front of me. Now I have the opportunity to seek justice without sparing!
Thank you all immensely!", writes Tahiri.

Tahiri left prison today, to continue his sentence under "house arrest".

The court of Elbasan has released the former minister of the interior from prison, deciding that he will serve the remainder of his sentence at home.

The decision was taken during the court session this Wednesday by judge Matilda Fetahu, after the request received from the prosecution.

Fetahu accepted the prosecutor's request for extenuating family circumstances against Tahir, under the argument that he had to take care of the minor children due to his wife's health problems.

For the former minister, there are two medical-legal expertises, which justify why he cannot stay in prison for the remainder of his sentence.

It is learned that Tahiri has health problems. While in the second report-expertise, it is explained that the wife of the former minister is not in good health and as a result, there is no one to take care of the children.

The request, which was made six months ago in the Court of Elbasan, was accepted this Friday.
