Salianji will not be part of the race for DP chairman in the May 23 elections, as his candidacy was not accepted.
Former DP MP Ervin Salianji has reacted again after the Democratic Party rejected his candidacy in the race for the new party leader.
Under these conditions, only Sali Berisha remains in the race, while the party membership is expected to express itself through a "Yes" or "No" vote for his confirmation as leader of the DP.
Salianji reacted through a post on social media, which implied that the decision was related to avoiding an open competition.
"Victory does not always require competition, the fear of others is enough to seal it," he writes.
The former MP also expresses gratitude to his supporters, thanking them for the support they have given him.
