President Bajram Begaj arrived at the Palace of Congresses where tributes were held for Judge Astrit Kalaja, who was killed in the courtroom on October 6.
Begaj honored the figure of the judge who fell in the line of duty. The head of state also left a written message in honor of Judge Kalaja.

While on duty, the judge was executed by gunfire on the afternoon of October 6, while the shocking incident was committed by 30-year-old Elvis Shkëmbi.
Police have also arrested Gjon Shkambi, the uncle of the perpetrator who killed judge Astrit Kalaja. Meanwhile, the security guard of the Court of Appeal, Banush Koxha, has also been arrested.
