The DP member of the Tirana Municipal Council, Ilir Alimehmeti, stated that the opposition has shown "the unwavering will of all the opposition civic forces of Tirana to change once and for all the political model that has continuously abused the daily lives and services of the citizens of Tirana."
In a reaction on Facebook, he also welcomed Agron Shehaj's decision to support Florian Bianj's candidacy for the Municipality of Tirana.
"I warmly welcome the civic and integrity-based decision of Mr. Shehaj and the Mundesia Party to join the full opposition spectrum in support of Mr. Florjan Binaj as an independent candidate for Mayor of Tirana!"
I am convinced that Mr. Shehaj and the force he represents will support Mr. Binaj's campaign with the same integrity and citizenship at every step.
This decision to fully unite the opposition fully demonstrates the unwavering will of all the opposition civic forces of Tirana to change once and for all the political model that has continuously abused the daily lives and services of the citizens of Tirana.
