Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha declared today that Rama's request to establish KFOR in the northern municipalities is devilish and accused the Prime Minister of seeking to divide Kosovo between Serbia and Albania.
He also accused the prime minister of being a vassal of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and that he is trying to implement the latter's plan in Kosovo.
According to Berisha, this project was defended by Edi Rama for the Northern Municipalities of Kosovo for years with the exchange of territories, but this project has failed, it has been archived once and for all.

Of course, in every case it cooperates and should cooperate with KFOR and EULEX, whenever the need arises.
But Edi Rama's request by order of Aleksandër Vučič that the municipalities in the north of Kosovo with a Serb majority be placed under the control of KFOR is a diabolical request which has no other purpose than to indirectly lead to the division of Kosovo between Serbia and Albania . Edi Rama defended this project for the Northern Municipalities of Kosovo for years with the exchange of territories, but this project has failed, it has been archived once and for all. That's why I condemn with the greatest severity this attitude of Edi Rama, which goes all the way in accordance with the demands of Belgrade ", declared Berisha.
In his speech, Berisha also emphasized that the request that Prime Minister Rama made for holding an international peace conference for Kosovo is an idea supported by Russia.
According to him, the allies are against such a conference, as it undoes all the progress achieved in the talks and returns the issue to zero point.
