The Secretary of Reestablishment for Legal Affairs, Ivi Kaso, has considered the decision of the Supreme Court to return to the Court of Appeal the logo and seal of the DP as a legitimization of the decision-making of the National Assembly on December 11, 2021.
Kaso said that today's decision of the Supreme Court is not the best possible for the Re-establishment, adding that it should have ended the dragging of the process for the seal of the DP.
"With today's decision, the Supreme Court practically legitimizes or reinstates the decision of the first instance of March 25, 2022, which recognized as legal the decision-making of December 2021 where the new governing bodies of the DP were elected. These decisions are reinstated until another decision by the court. It is not the best possible decision because today the Supreme Court should have closed the saga of dragging the DP seal. The Supreme Court has preferred not to get into the issue of who the stamp belongs to, but has contented itself with the serious violations found in the decision of the Court of Appeal" , said Kaso.
While for the member of the National Council of the DP, Besart Logu, today's decision does not affect the legitimacy of the Democratic Party. He said that the interpretations given to him by Reestablishment are propaganda and that this decision actually legitimizes the Democratic Party as a party to the judicial process.
