Orjola Pampuri, who is running for the Euro-Atlantic coalition in the Tirana Region, said in 'Të Pashoq' that there are some red lines that condition the cooperation of this coalition with the one led by Sali Berisha. Pampuri completely ruled out the cooperation of the Euro-Atlantic coalition with Edi Rama, for whom she said that he should get ready to be investigated for the McGonigal case.
You have it with the individual, Sali Berisha is the red line?
Pampuri : If after the May 11 elections the question of cooperation is raised, of course we will not cooperate with Edi Rama, but there are also red lines for Sali Berisha. We cannot undo the decision of September 9, that decision that led to the great division of the Democrats. We cannot tell the Democrats who sacrificed everything, who endured the mud, that it has changed today when nothing has changed regarding what led us to the decision of September 9.
The other red line is justice. The only institution that guarantees the end of impunity is SPAK. We are against that justice system that was controlled by politics. There is an extraordinary investment of the EU and the US towards SPAK, so we have fully supported SPAK and the crackdown on corruption and organized crime.
What if Berisha leaves as leader of the DP?
Pampuri: We are all democrats, if the red lines fall, then without a doubt the right will unite and the left needs to be renewed, because there are people with precedents within it. Without a doubt there will be attacks, strikes, this is not even discussed. The fact that we have 34 years in transition is not accidental, it is a transition designed for these figures to create their own fortresses, to remain protected. Without these fortresses falling, this country will not be built.
There are rumors that Basha will collaborate with Edi Rama
Pampuri: Edi Rama should get ready to be investigated for the McGonigal case, he is clear about this. McGonigal received his sentence, now Rama must be investigated. Donald Trump's coming to power makes us believe that this case will be investigated to the end. Let everyone be clear that Lulzim Basha is not saying 7x7 = 313 for nothing. Therefore, Edi Rama is not calm either, because in addition to the McGonigal case that he has to answer for, because he corrupted the highest FBI counterintelligence official, there is also the incinerators case. There are other cases as well, because today Ilir Beqaj, Erion Veliaj, Jurgis Çyrbja and many others are in prison, and those signatures or decisions that have been made were not signed by those who are in prison, but also by Edi Rama.
