Prime Minister Edi Rama, also the leader of the Socialist Party, during a meeting with young people in Tirana, in the context of the May 11 elections, said that Sali Berisha held a farcical competition for the primaries, while he shunned the most voted candidate by not running.
"I don't understand these Democrats who are going backwards, but those who want power. You saw the primaries, they did the primaries, they told you to come in because the democratic people will vote and whoever gets voted in will become an MP."
"It's as if they told you to come in so we can see who has the most votes, so we can chop off your heads and get more deputies from Big Brother than from the primaries," Rama said.
