The recount of votes for parties and candidates in the Tirana district continues for the eighth day, a process that is taking place at the 'Farie Hoti' Sports Palace, where 939 boxes have been opened so far.
The reopening of the ballot boxes has shown that vote movements have been minimal, while minor errors have been discovered, which do not bring any change either in the mandates of political parties or in the ranking of the candidates on the first list.
More specifically, the DP leads with the largest number of lost votes, 502 votes, which resulted from being unfairly taken from the initial count, while the SP has 334 votes.
The Albania Becomes Initiative also lost 36 votes, which it received without merit from the initial count. It turns out that the Together Movement also had 55 unmerited votes, the Opportunity Party 35, and the PSD 29. Lulzim Basha's Euro-Atlantic Coalition was added 20 votes, which they received on May 11.
There is also movement of votes among the candidates, which has also caused dissatisfaction. Ilir Alimhemeti has 127 votes without merit, Ilir Meta has 47, while Jorida Tabaku also received 84 votes without merit, a negligible figure considering the significant difference from Alimehmeti.
In the SP, 160 votes were taken from Erion Braçe, who has expressed dissatisfaction with KAS, which he claims is invalidating his votes. Minister Ervin Hoxha also has a high number of votes without merit, 259, while Fatmir Xhafaj has 165. Olta Xhaçka has lost 33 votes, while Blerina Gjylameti has 10 votes added, which results in them being taken from her.
