Journalist: There is a tourist boom in Albania, are you competing with us?
Rama: Nobody can compete with Italy.
Journalist: What could be the role of our country in bringing Albania closer to Europe?
Rama: Italy has always been - regardless of who has been at the head of the government - our advocate and Giorgia actually talks about a reunification of the European Union.
Journalist: Recently, in a special episode on social networks, a video went viral where a group of Italians left the restaurant without paying. Is it true that when the prime minister found out about this, she asked the ambassador to pay the bill?
Rama: I told her this for a little laugh and everyone around her gave a big smile, but she made a stern face. He turned to the Ambassador and said: You Ambassador must pay that bill and make a communication and apologize because this is shameful.
The Prime Minister of Italy together with her family chose to vacation in Vlora from August 14 to August 18, 2023. Meloni stayed at the residential villa of the Prime Minister Edi Rama, with her husband Andrea Giambruno, daughter Ginevra and her sister Arianna and her husband Francesco Lollobrigida .
