The Chairman of the DP Parliamentary Group Gazment Bardhi has requested that the changes in the composition of the Council of Ministers be made through a parliamentary debate.
In the official request addressed to the Assembly, Bardhi writes that the composition of the Council of Ministers cannot be Rama's private product.
"The composition of the Council of Ministers is not a private product of the Prime Minister, who only enjoys the constitutional right to propose it, but the appointment is an institutional interaction between the three institutions Prime Minister-President of the Republic-Parliament of Albania. In this case, the Assembly of Albania cannot have a formal role, only in certifying the personal will of the Prime Minister, but it must discuss and evaluate the incoming proposals and decrees".
The DP Parliamentary Group requests that the debate take place in a time of 6 hours. "Since we are before the change of the composition of the Council of Ministers, which means a new composition of it, in accordance with Articles 12, 46, 48 and 110 of the Rules of the Assembly, we request that the review of the Presidential Decrees that change the composition of Council of Ministers to undergo a 6-hour parliamentary debate, divided proportionally between the parliamentary groups", it is written in the official request of the DP Parliamentary Group.
