The spokesperson of the Democratic Party, Mirela Karabina, immediately reacted to Sali Berisha's statements this morning regarding Erzen Brencan.

"Sali Berisha is such a deceiver and liar that he denied even knowing Erzen Breçan, even though he has been by his side in all forms and ways. This is enough to understand that he has neither shame, nor morals, neither blushes nor yellows. Because he is ready to do anything for his personal interests, to lie and deny anyone, as he has done.
In these two years, his deceptions and lies have simply proved to the Albanians how great his plight is. Today this problem is even greater.
Yes, Sali Berisha cannot hide by deceiving Lulzim Basha, nor by threatening and putting pressure on justice. He should not hide like a man behind the tricks of the day, but go and testify if he is innocent. The alliance of the towers and the theater in the parliament cannot save Sali Berisha.
He will never be able to take the Democratic Party hostage to use it as a shield for his troubles in cooperation with Edi Rama, his partner in the towers and against SPAK", said Karabina.
