Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha observed a minute of silence in honor of the well-known actor, Zef Deda, at the beginning of the press conference.
Berisha said that today is a day of mourning for Albanian art, stating that the sun finally set for the talented artist.
The former prime minister stated that Zef Deda devoted all his talent to the great truths of art and society.
"Today is a sad day for art, the scene, Shkodra and art lovers all over Albania as the sun set forever for the well-known and talented artist Zef Deda, he was an artist who devoted all his talent to the great truths of art and society. He died prematurely, having the opportunity to reach other peaks in the stage and art.
But he remains immortal with his brilliant legacy that he leaves. I express my deepest condolences to the family, relatives, the artistic community and the citizens of Shkodra and the whole of Albania for this great loss. We honor Zef Deda with a minute of silence", said Berisha.
The master of humor passed away today after a 1-year battle with a serious illness.
