Former Democratic Party MP, Dashnor Sula, stated that the DP, in addition to other election factors, should have joined forces with all opposition forces to gain more.
Regarding the issue of being excluded from running under the Democratic Party (DP) banner, Sula claimed on the 'Log' show on News24 that they closed the door and he could not enter with difficulty.
"The DP should have formed a coalition with all opposition parties in order to maximize the vote. I couldn't work because they told me I was worthless and we don't need you anymore. They didn't consider me on either the closed or open list. As the saying goes, "I don't take a woman by force or a man by force". I'm at the door, they close the door, I can't get in. The party didn't respect me," said Sula.
