Democratic Party MP Saimir Korreshi requested clarifications from the Laws Committee regarding the implementation of projects related to the treatment of polluted waters in Lushnje.
Korreshi also raised the issue of drinking water supply in Fier. According to him, the situation is worrying, as citizens are supplied with water through firefighting vehicles.
He stated that fire trucks from Fier, Patos and Roskovec distribute drinking water to residents, describing this as an indicator of serious problems in the supply system.
"How is it possible that the Lushnja fire department has been bringing drinking water to Fier for a week in a row. We get 45 million, we are entering Europe, how do you explain the facts that the fire department is going to Fier to fill water cans. I also have the footage."
Water because you have both drinking water and sewage. Because I don't want to go through this, we put bricks to walk in some neighborhoods from the sewage. I'll show you where you want. Are you going to enter Europe by stepping on sewage? Bring us bricks and blocks at least.
Do you follow the projects when they are implemented? How does the project work? You give funds and money, you tender them and they enter Europe, and you control the project? Because I found out that 6 months ago the road was split on both sides and trucks from the water supply company fell there. That we do 1 job and destroy 8 others", said Korreshi.
