The Anti-Corruption Agency has launched the official procedure to verify the assets of Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani. This is after the Agency found significant differences in her asset declaration between 2024 and 2025.
Sources within this institution have confirmed to VOX Kosova that the procedure was initiated after differences were noticed in the amount of assets that the president had declared in the asset declaration forms for public officials.
The changes are mainly related to the increase in savings, as well as the increase in the amount of cash declared.
Significant movements are observed in the documents submitted for 2025 compared to the previous year, which has prompted the responsible institution to undertake additional verifications, as required by law.
Osmani, who is often mentioned in public opinion for her standard of living, has bought a house in a luxurious neighborhood on the outskirts of Pristina.
But she also has many other real estate holdings, such as properties in Australia, where just one house is listed as worth over half a million euros.
Also, last year, in her asset declaration, she stated that she and her husband also own an apartment in Pristina, as well as land and another house in Australia./ VOXKosova
